reathtaking views surround the Asilomar complex which is nestled in the California coastal dunes. Karen and I spent a week with Empty Spools in an independent work-study class with designer Janet Fogg. Her unique piecing style was evident in her modern and very personal quilting style. We worked on our own "designed from scratch" projects, as well as, the beginnings of one of Janet's designs.
