uiltCon, Modern Quilt Guild's worldwide quilt show, event, retreat and conference for modern quilters was held in Pasadena, California in 2018. BeeSewcial's astonishingly brilliant collaborations and Karen's excellent eye for improvisation continues to be recognized. New knowledge reached new heights with workshops by Carolyn Friedlander; Improv paper piecing with Amy Friend; Secondary design with Jen Carlton-Bailly; Improv stripes with Katie Pedersen; hand stitching with Heidi Parks. Tartankiwi's paper pieced Crane was my contribution to the MQG mini swap.
